GuideSmiths are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted as a finalist in The BCS & Computing UK IT Industry Awards. We are hoping to be awarded the Small Supplier of the Year Award. The Awards are a platform for the entire profession to celebrate best practice, innovation and excellence.
To be shortlisted as a finalist we have demonstrated professionalism, excellence, innovation and measurable success. Most importantly, we needed to provide evidence to show that our clients’ experience high levels of customer satisfaction and we bring genuine business benefits to them with our software development projects. To complete the award submission, we asked several of our clients if they thought we met the criteria and it is their detailed feedback that has secured our place in the final. This is an example of what they had to say;
“GuideSmith’s authentic engineering-first approach enables them to effectively augment and add to our operations, and they work with us rather than for us. They take time to understand our strategic goals and they foster a strong and honest relationship between our two businesses.”
Paul Fletcher, Group CEO, BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, says: “Congratulations to GuideSmiths for being shortlisted, they clearly demonstrate the highest levels of excellence and innovation across today’s IT sector. These awards showcase some of the brightest and best in our industry, and it is a significant achievement to be shortlisted.”
To win the Award the GuideSmiths team must face the judging panel which includes industry experts and peer-level technology leaders. The Award organisers Computing say “The UK IT Industry awards celebrates the whole industry, including organisations of all sizes, and across every sector. What really sets it apart is its unique, rigorous and independent judging process.”
The judging will take place on the 13th of September and the winners of the 2018 Awards will be announced in November 2018.
